Mlb Blue Jays Blanked By Rangers Bo Bichettes Return Short Lived

MLB: Blue Jays Blanked by Rangers; Bo Bichette's Return Short-Lived

Another Sluggish Offensive Outing

The Toronto Blue Jays' offense has continued to struggle, as they were shut out by the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night at Rogers Centre. This marks the Blue Jays' third shutout loss in their last six games. They have now scored just four runs in that span.

The Rangers' pitching staff was simply outstanding on Tuesday. Starter Dane Dunning allowed just two hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings. The Rangers' bullpen was equally impressive, allowing just one hit over the final 3.2 innings.

Bichette's Return Cut Short

Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette returned to the lineup on Tuesday after missing the previous three games with a knee injury. However, his return was short-lived, as he was forced to leave the game in the third inning with a left knee sprain.

Bichette had reached base in his first two at-bats before suffering the injury. He is now expected to undergo an MRI on Wednesday to determine the extent of the injury.

Another Setback for the Blue Jays

The loss to the Rangers was another setback for the Blue Jays, who have now lost five of their last six games. They are now 6-13 in their last 19 games and have fallen to 32-33 on the season.

The Blue Jays will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they host the Rangers in the second game of their three-game series. Hyun Jin Ryu will start for the Blue Jays, while Glenn Otto will take the mound for the Rangers.
