In a move that has sent shockwaves through the NRL, Reece Walsh has agreed to a groundbreaking five-year, $6 million contract with the Brisbane Broncos. The deal, which will see Walsh become the highest-paid player in the club's history, has been hailed as a major coup for the Broncos.
Walsh, who emerged as one of the NRL's brightest stars in 2023 while playing for the Sydney Roosters, was reportedly sought after by several clubs. However, the 20-year-old has opted to remain loyal to the Broncos, the club where he grew up.
