Neyland Stadium to undergo $288M renovation

The University of Tennessee announced on Monday a $288 million renovation to Neyland Stadium, and the university released photos showing what the updates will look like.

The project will add new premium seating, enclosed club spaces, loge boxes, and other new amenities. It will also include structural upgrades and accessibility improvements.

Completion of the renovation is expected by the 2026 football season, with some elements to be completed as soon as fall 2024.

Here's what the stadium will look like after the renovation:

  • New seating sections: The stadium will gain 11,000 new premium seats, 9,000 enclosed club seats, and 20 loge boxes.
  • Club spaces: Located on the lower level, the 9,000-square-foot enclosed club spaces will include high-end food and beverage options, as well as access to indoor and outdoor seating areas.
  • Loge boxes: The 20 loge boxes will be located on the west side of the stadium and will offer premium views of the field. Each loge will be 300 square feet and include 16 seats.
  • Structural upgrades: The renovation will include structural upgrades to improve the safety and stability of the stadium.
  • Accessibility improvements: The renovation will also include accessibility improvements, such as new ramps and elevators.

The renovation is expected to improve the fan experience for Tennessee football games
